An insightful industry session led by Kunal Lunia, a data analytics and business intelligence professional currently associated with MSCI Inc. The session focused on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in business analytics and how modern analytical tools are transforming decision-making in organisations.

During the session, Mr Lunia shared insights from his professional journey, beginning with his early experience working with US-based organisations as a Data Analyst and later transitioning to MSCI, where he has been involved in developing analytical solutions, automated reporting systems, and business intelligence dashboards.

Students and staff were introduced to practical applications of AI-driven analytics through discussions on advanced Excel modelling, predictive analytics, and Power BI dashboard development. The session also explored the importance of data modelling, DAX-based calculations, and effective data visualisation in building meaningful business intelligence reports.

Through real-world examples and practical explanations, Mr. Lunia highlighted how AI augmented analytics is helping organisations move beyond traditional reporting toward predictive insights and smarter decision-making.
